Ils sont accueillis chaleureusement par les invités de la mariée. Bientôt la grande cérémonie du henné prend lieu. Un groupe de femmes entoure la mariée et entame le fameux rituel du henné. Une femme âgée usant d'un flocon de laine imbibé de henné, marque la mariée au niveau de quelques articulations en commençant par le côté droit se servant d'un fil de laine en entrelacs, elle relie à la base des doigts des deux mains de la mariée ( IZELOUMEN ) celle-ci est ensuite vêtue d'un habit blanc du mari ( AHROUY ). Pour la coiffure, les cheveux de la mariée sont peignés et enroulés en forme saillante appelée communément ( ABOUY ). Son visage est alors voilé d'un foulard de couleur rouge et vert en soie dit " AÂBROU9" et un collier en ambre dit LOUBAN est mis autour de son cou. Une couverture simple dit IZAR est agrafé avec des fibules dit " TISOUGHNASSE ". Une fois la mariée chaussée de Babouches TIKOURBIYINE et embellie par quelques retouches esthétiques le rituel du henné prend fin, vient ensuite l'étape de départ; le père de la mariée invite sa fille à marcher sur la pan de sa cape (BURNOUS dit AZENAR) jusqu'à sa monture : la mule TASSERDOUNT qui la transportera à sa nouvelle demeure portera derrière la mariée un petit garçon pendant qu'une vielle femme suit en tenant la mule par sa queue. Le cortège accompagnateur protégé par les envoyés du mari doit vaincre la résistance livrée par les habitants du Ksar d'origine de la mariée qui s'opposent énergiquement à son départ. Arrivée à destination, le cortège fait le tour du Ksar 3 fois en exhortant les saints locaux d'accorder leur bénédiction à la nouvelle mariée, celle-ci accède enfin au domicile conjugal. En dernier lieu et avant de devenir définitivement membre du foyer accueillant la mariée un petit enfant au dos, un seau plein de dattes à la main se rend au point d'eau le plus reconnaissance distribue le contenu de son seau qu'elle rempli d'eau avant de rentrer chez elle. La mariée tient un agneau aux bras et toujours le petit garçon au dos tous sur la mule jusqu'à sa nouvelle demeure.
